Ever since I was a little kid, I have always enjoyed taking surveys. At times, they would come in the mail and I can hardly wait to open them up, fill them out and then send them back again. Most of these were fun surveys, put out by Carnival Cruise or perhaps some other branch of the entertainment industry but for the most part, they were just good, clean fun.
I can remember one time whenever my family took a trip to Hershey Park PA as we did most summers. Since we lived in Pennsylvania and were really only about two hours away from the park, it was not too big of a deal for us to head there for a day of fun. Whenever we got there, I had an opportunity to take one of these surveys in real life.
Since there were five people in my family, we fit into exactly what the people wanted us to fit into in order to take the survey. We were taken into separate rooms and given a new type of candy that was being made at Hershey that had not yet been put out onto the market. They wanted us to fill out a brief survey in order to let them know whether we liked the food or not. The candy was similar to an M&M but it had a bit sweeter of a flavor. I don’t know whether it actually ever made it to the market or not but it was a lot of fun taking this little trial for a chocolate company.
